Boasting good looks and a winning blend of indie rock, hip hop, and synth-pop, Bastille-the four chaps from London have a knack for connecting with audiences at their carousing live concerts, entering the crowd to mingle with adoring fans and pose for the occasional mid-set photo op.
Bastille formed around the solo project of singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who shares his birthday with France’s historic Bastille Day. The band’s 2010 debut single “Flaws” was an underground hit, leading to a 2012 deal with Virgin records that resulted in the band’s 2013 debut LP Bad Blood. Now, they hit the road again to celebrate their latest, “Wild World”.
