Story Circles: Family Traditions

STORY CIRCLES are a celebration of the power of storytelling! See master storytellers perform followed by an open mic where anyone and everyone can tell their story, including you! Story Circles is presented in partnership with the Carroll Creek Toastmasters and co-hosted by Dewey Stewart and Fanny Crawford.
Set in a Story Circle Open Mic format, this is the perfect opportunity for you to try out your own 5-minute story in a group of friendly storytellers. We’ll have sign-up sheets available at the event.
Adam Booth’s original storytelling blends traditional mountain folklore, music, and an awareness of contemporary Appalachia with a focus on the craft of story development and performance.
Story Circles is held at New Spire Studios at 115 E Church St. There is free parking located behind the building which can be accessed by making a left from Church St onto Chapel Alley and then another left into our lot.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
