DESCRIPTION:Does your 3-5 year old love to move? Join us in this fun 45-minute drop-off class\, led by local dance instructors Monica Giaimo and Bria Comer. This class will work on rhythm\, coordination\, balance\, creativity\, teamwork\, and fun! \nThis is a drop-off class (kids this age generally do better without parents right there)\, but you are welcome to come starting at 1:15 pm to get signed in\, and to return at 2:05 pm to see what we worked on\, and also join in for the final song. \nThis class is to benefit Circle of Life Cooperative Pre-school. DESCRIPTION:Tuscarora High School Presents: Chicago: Teen Edition \nChicago: Teen Edition is an adapted\, high-energy musical set in the roaring 1920s that follows Roxie Hart\, a chorus girl with dreams of stardom who murders her unfaithful lover. After tricking her husband\, Amos\, into taking the blame\, she is sent to Cook County Jail\, where she encounters her idol and rival\, Velma Kelly\, a vaudeville star who killed her own husband and sister. Roxie and Velma become rivals for the spotlight and the services of Billy Flynn\, a slick lawyer who specializes in turning murderers into celebrities. With the help of the matron\, Mama Morton\, and the media\, Roxie and Velma manipulate the justice system and the public to chase fame\, fortune\, and acquittal. \nChicago: Teen Edition is about 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. \nTuscarora High School offers a diverse selection or arts entertainment during the school year. DESCRIPTION:Calling Artists And Art Lovers Of All Experience Levels!\nThe National Road Museum will be hosting a brand new Plein Air event in Boonsboro on May 2nd from 8am until 4pm!\nEnjoy being outdoors and capture something beautiful in the Boonsboro area!  Artists are encouraged to find subjects along the Historic National Road (Route 40 Alternate) in Historic Downtown Boonsboro or a nearby area. \nWhen complete\, you may choose to take your art home or display it for the public through the month of May!  Artwork displayed for the month will be entered for one of two awards with prizes.  In addition to display\, artists are encouraged to consider donating their completed artwork to a silent auction. \nAll proceeds from registration and the auction will benefit the National Road Heritage Foundation. \n  \nDates:\nMay 2\n8:30am – 4:30 pm – Plein Air Painting Event.  Rain Date May 9th.\nCheck-in begins 8:30.  Day-Of submissions for exhibit before 4:30. \nMay 6 & 8\n6-7:30pm – Weekday finished painting dropoff \nMay 9\, 16\, & 23\n10am-4pm – Public display of artwork at the National Road Museum.  Silent Auction and Public Choice Award Voting Open. \nMay 30 –\n12:00 PM Silent Auction Ends.\n2:00 PM Board-Of-Directors Choice and Public Choice Award winners named.  Silent auction winners named. \n  \nRegistration Fees:\n$8 – Artist Bringing Own Canvas (or other surface on which to create*)\n$10 – Comes With Museum Provided 11 x 14 Basic Canvas\n$12 – Comes With Museum Provided 16 x 20 Basic Canvas \nFree To Observe\, visitors are encouraged to also visit our museums which ask for a donation to tour. \n*If intended for display in the exhibit\, artist must provide framing or other mounting for paper- or loose fabric-based artwork. \nThe registration fee is non-refundable.
