One Voice United – Frederick

An all-day free Christian concert will be performed by seven Frederick-area church bands at the Baker Park BandShell from noon until 7:30 pm on September 11, 2021, in an effort to bring unity to the Frederick community through uplifting music. The concert is billed as “a time of worship and music, lifting up the name of Jesus our Savior”.
In addition to music, there will be prayer time throughout the day and the event will be held rain or shine. Church bands participating in the event are:
· Third-Day Community Church,
· Damascus Road Community Church,
· Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church,
· Cornerstone Fellowship Church,
· Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal M.I.,
· Christy Frey and members of the Well Collaborative,
· Brett Barry and Redeemer Nation.

“I think we all agree with the fact that this world needs more unity and hope”, said Frank Work, concert coordinator. “So we felt what better way to accomplish that than to bring people together through music since it unifies the soul of any person, regardless of race, nationality, or political affiliation. We just want people to come out and enjoy a day of uplifting music that might bring some hope to a hurting nation”.
