SUMMARY:Spring Solstice & Eclipse by Equinox
DESCRIPTION:Do you and/or your children love to dance? Equinox is excited to again be hosting our bi-annual FREE dance workshop\, culminating in performing alongside us at this year’s spring concert on April 21.\nChildren 5-15 are invited to be part of Solstice by Equinox\, our Youth Dance Company. Solstice members will learn a dance choreographed by company member Tessa Roberson. Adults 18+ are invited to be part of Eclipse by Equinox\, our Guest Dance Company. Eclipse members will collaborate with artistic director Bria Comer to collectively create a dance. Both groups will get weekly class and rehearsal time to help prepare for the show\, helping to be a key part of our show No Trespassing\, which uses dance to look at different ideas of ownership and boundaries.\nParticipation in Solstice and Eclipse by Equinox is completely free\, and dancers will be provided with costumes for the performance. Rehearsal dates are March 18 and 25\, and April 8 and 15 at Elite Feet Dance Studio from 2-3:30 pm. Dress rehearsal at Frederick Community College is Friday\, April 20 from 6:30-7:30 pm.
