AQUA FEST

The CAD Engineering class at the Frederick County Career & Technology center is one of the fifteen nationwide Lemelson MIT InvenTeam Grant Recipients. As an Inventeam, we are raising money to travel to MIT this summer to present our water remediation system we have made for the Melka Olba School in Ethiopia. The funds will also help us travel to Ethiopia this summer to install the system.
We are hosting a music festival on February 24th from 3:30-8:30PM (doors open @ 3:00)
It will be at Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick (1501 N Market St Frederick MD 21701)
There will be some awesome local Maryland bands. If you like alt. rock, punk rock, pop rock or metal, come out to the show !
Featuring: The Great Heights Band, Front Royal, The Revived, After the Broken and Saving Apollo.
The tickets will be $15 at the door and $10 in advanced. They can be purchased online at www.frederickinventeam.com and the tickets will be at the will-call table the day of the event.
Come out and support the Frederick CTC InvenTeam as well as some incredible local talent !
All proceeds made from event will contribute to our team’s goal of $20,000 covering travel fees to MIT and Ethiopia as well as shipping the system to Ethiopia.
