Montgomery County Firefighters Pipes & Drums Band Fall Fundraiser and Canned Food Drive!
In keeping with our motto, “Brotherhood through Music,” the Montgomery County Fire Fighters Pipes and Drums was formed in late November 2004, with the goal of honoring all of our fallen brothers and sisters and providing support to their families. Since then we have been meeting, organizing, and practicing on a weekly basis. We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to honor our department and the community in which we serve.
We are holding our 2018 Fall Fundraiser on Saturday, November 10th. This year, we will be hosting a bowling tournament at Terrace Lanes in Frederick, MD to raise money to not only assist in providing uniforms for new members, but also to help offset some of the travel expenses incurred by traveling to LODD’s. In addition to raising funds for our non-profit organization, we will also be collecting canned goods to support our community before the holiday season!
