Weekend Backpacks Baltimore, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing childhood food insecurity in Baltimore City, will host End Zone Eats: Weekend Backpacks’ Tailgate Honoring the Ravens Foundation and 30 years of the Baltimore Ravens, on May 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Martin’s Valley Mansion in Cockeysville. The football season may be in the rearview mirror, but hunger doesn’t take the weekend off. This game day style tailgate will raise critical funds for the nonprofit that supports nearly 2,000 students and their families every week while honoring the Ravens Foundation and celebrating 30 years of the Baltimore Ravens. Guests will huddle up with Poe, the Ravens Cheerleaders and special guests for an evening packed with tailgate themed appetizers from local restaurants. Attendees will celebrate like they’re in the end zone, enjoying camaraderie, cheering on Weekend Backpacks’ mission, and acknowledging more than a decade of partnership that has helped deliver thousands of weekend food bags to Baltimore students in need.
