Octoberfest

Frederick County Landmarks Foundation is pleased to present its annual Oktoberfest at Schifferstadt Architectural Museum. Celebrate Fall and enjoy featured arts and crafts at an authentic Oktoberfest at Schifferstadt. This traditional festival takes place rain or shine. The event features various vendors and their works including original oil and watercolor paintings, fused glass jewelry, German paper cutting, wheel and thrown stoneware pottery, handcrafted soaps, beeswax products and lotions, quilted items, handwoven and knitted scarves and hats, and more. These items are for sale during the larger Oktoberfest event which will feature other cultural activities, German sausage, beer, a German Oom-pah band, and colonial living history demonstrators.
