Wags for Hope’s Howl-O-Wine

Wags for Hope is a non-profit organization based in Frederick, MD. Our volunteers and their pets seek
to enrich the lives of others in our local community. Volunteer teams visit Frederick Memorial Hospital,
nursing homes, assisted living facilities, schools and libraries in the Frederick County area. Over the
years, Wags for Hope volunteers typically logged in over 1850 hours of service, each year.
To support our volunteer-run organization, we sponsor an annual fundraiser, Howlowine, to raise
money to help defray the cost of the liability insurance needed to enable the organization to share our
therapy pets with the community. This year, Howlowine will take place at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard
on October 18, 2025. We will have our famous Pet costume contest, Donate and Dash, and vendors!
This will be our 16th annual event.
