Chief Lando Homelessness All-Nighter – October 10
Advocates for Homeless Families and Beyond Shelter Frederick, in partnership with the Frederick Police Department, invite you to the Chief Lando Homelessness All-Nighter on Friday, October 10 at 8 PM along Carroll Creek Linear Park.
Chief Lando will remain awake all night until 8 AM the next morning to bring attention to the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness. The evening will feature a special program from 9–11 PM with guest speakers, a candlelight vigil, “Fill the Cruiser” donation drive, music, free food and drinks, and opportunities to connect with local agencies working to end homelessness.
The event concludes Saturday morning with a Rally to End Homelessness at 7:30 AM.
October 10 also marks World Homeless Day, a time to raise awareness, inspire action, and support those in need in our community.
